Somewhere in the gray is where I reside. I lived in the dark for many years, and even after i've been rocketed into the light, i sometimes go back into the darkness to remember who i don't want to be. For me everyday I have to try to get out of myself and see what I can give to this universe. I try to remember: it's not all about me! I've had some great teachers as i've walked up and down my path, which have shown me what to do and more importantly what not to do. My experience has shown me that TRUTH always wins out. Sobriety and spirituality have made me allergic to bullshit.
Since I got sober at the age of 22 my life has always improved, even when I try to sabotage my growth with some limited decisions, which sometimes gets me feeling as if I'm walking backwards. Some of the best advice i've ever gotten is SIT DOWN, SHUT THE FUCK UP, AND LISTEN! So much power in that.
I know you read these words….. so forgive yourself and be happy.

How do you disprove something that is absolutely undefinable and way out of the scope of our limited minds?
Prayer works. That is a fact! somewhere in the middle of faith and reason is a quiet, peaceful existence.
